Green Monkeys and Calypso Kings to Clash in Final

The stage is set for the final of the Barbados Cup – Segway Polo in Paradise featuring some of the top international players.

Yesterday’s semifinal action saw Calypso Kings book their spot in a nerve wrecking match against Rum Punchers. Despite some fantastic play and good attacking opportunities, the match remained scoreless at the end of regulation time. Philip Evenly scored a sudden death penalty to secure the win for his team to cement their spot in the final.

In the other semifinal, a brace from Daniel Hatch and a goal from German international Werner Ledwig saw the Green Monkeys getting the better of the Soca Monarchs, by cruising to a 3-0 victory.

The finals will take place at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex today at 6:00pm.
