Player's Corner - Lutz Dombdera
The Segway Polo Club of Barbados sat down with Lutz Dombdera from Singapore, to hear his thoughts on the 2018 Barbados Cup - Segway Polo in Paradise. Lutz will feature in his 3rd Cup next year and this is what he had to share:
Q: What keeps you coming back to Barbados?
A: Barbados is a true gem with everything you would expect from a perfect holiday destination. It’s stunning beaches, great dining spots, great activities and most importantly: very welcoming people never short of a smile.
Q: What do you love most about Segway Polo in Paradise?
A: Segway Polo in Paradise is a mixed player tournament where instead of established teams, players get assigned to teams based on strength. This makes the tournament very equal and kind of unpredictable. Oh well and that is beside the great people and perfect weather.
Q: What do you love the most about Barbados?
A: Barbados seems to have its very own time zone far away from day-to-day trouble. We have made friends here and fell in love with the beauty of Barbados, its people and culture.
Q: What are you looking forward to most next year?
A: Another great tournament with lots of fun and laughter. Reconnecting with friends, great competition and a rum punch after the games.
