When the 2017 WOZ Challenge Cup – Segway Polo World Championship gets underway in Germany later this year, two Barbadian teams will proudly fly the Barbados flag for the first time since 2011. The national side added to the titles which they last won in 2009 and 2010, when they defeated the Balve Mammoths 1-0 in a fiercely contested final in Cologne, Germany today. Segway Polo Team off to Winning Start
Barbados has got off to a winning start in the 2015 WOZ Segway Polo Challenge Cup in Cologne, Germany. Playing in their first game today, Team Barbados trounced the Helmer Butterflies 5-1. So dominant was the team’s performance, they scored all five of their goals before halftime.
